MoyaApp
I'm currently a Senior Software Engineer & team leader at MoyaApp. My core responsibilities include developing scalable backend software for the platform and data science tasks within the company. MoyaApp is a #datafree instant messaging, content & payment platform with more 6.5 million monthly active users.
DSTV Bot
While working at Praekelt Consulting, Praekelt we were asked to create a Whatsapp bot for DSTV's customer engagement. DSTV owned by Multichoice is the biggest pay TV service in Africa. The service grew quickly to 7.8 million unique visitors.
Elephant/rhino anti-poucher collar/towers embedded software
While working at Skygistics (Orbcomm Africa) I were asked to develop embedded software for collars and towers to track animals to reduce pouching. This project spanned several years and were successful in a number of countries.
